RSDC Ethics Policy Document
Department of Hotel management has policy which addresses Research Ethics. The RSDC Committee reviews and approves academic research work and projects of faculty members.
The department is committed to producing and promoting research of the highest quality to avoid plagiarism of any sort and other unethical practice while trying to allow academic freedom and innovative thinking. The department instructs the teachers and students to abide by the highest standards of integrity in their conduct of academic research and/or support to academic research activities.
The cell will be sending a communication for the upcoming meeting a month prior to the scheduled meeting. Faculty members will have to submit one hard copy of their research work duly signed to RSDC core clusters and get approval prior to submitting a copy to RSDC committee member.
Additionally, the faculty member should e-mail the complete document in PDF format. The received research would be sent for technical and ethical review and the comments received on them would be communicated to the faculty member/principal investigator.
If required, concerned faculty/PI would be asked to address the concerns in front of the committee in person.
